Finally, This Is IT.  I am able to watch MJ "live" in a theatre. Well, sort of anyway. When Michael Jackson was here the last time in Singapore, I missed my chance of meeting him in the concert. That shall always be my greatest regret. There are some sayings about why the show ( rehearsal ) was only shown in cinemas. Some says that it is to show people and fans that Michael Jackson is still healthy, ( during the rehearsal, which looks like it ) and some says that it is for the monetary gains of the movie companies or may be some other reasons which we may not known of. But to me, all these are not important. The most important thing about this show, the message that it conveys across, allows me to forever remember Michael Jackson as a nice person, a warm person, a genius in his field of work, also funny at times, a man of confidence and very very much passionate in his performance for the audience.

                            Thank You for the Memories Michael Jackson.

I have always been a Transformer fan and very much an Optimus Prime one.
One fine day, which I can't remember when, changed.
I was mesmerised by Bumble Bee cuteness and his loyalty.
Since then he became my number 1 Autobots.
Got this from Toys R us ,  if I remembered correctly.

Mission Impossible iii Gala Premiere

This a Gala Premiere Invitation ticket to the movie Mission Impossible 3.  It was only given to

certain specific customers who bought the then popular handphone Nokia set. Enjoyed the party very much as there were free flow of snacks and drinks. Why can't we have more of this nowadays.  Maybe because more and more people are watching movies online rather than going to the cinemas and the distributor therefore did not want to incur additional promotional costs.  For me, I'm old school. No doubt I watched a lot of movies online but those are shows which I already watched in cinemas. The experience is just different.  

This time, Ethan Hunt ( Tom Cuise ) most deadly enemy, arms dealer Owen Davian kidnapped his wife to Shanghai and blackmailed Ethan to steal a powerul weapon. I remembered before this movie was shown, it created quite an uproar in China as  parts of the pics portrayed  some sort of  "backward country".  Hence the movie was ordered to " put on hold " and as a result  delayed for months.

Mission Impossible Limited Edition Metal Pin

Do you still remember the opening music score from the movie

MISSION IMPOSSIBLE ????   One of the classics of all time and so is the movie.

Released in 1996, this movie starred Tom Cruise as an agent who was framed after his colleagues were killed in a mission and tried all means to get the real culprit and clear his name. Nothing much needs to be said as I think most of you have watched the show.

What I got here is a MI pin which came with the CD soundtract I bought at that time. Cant really find the CD now thou ( guess it's lying somewhere with other CDs ) but the most important thing is the pin right.

Initial D - Jay Chou 周杰倫 ( 頭文字 D ) / MTV movie premiums

Initial D is a chinese movie adapted from the Manga

(Japanese comics, cartoons).

The movie is based on the world of illegal Japanese street racing but not in cities nor urban areas. It actually happens in the moutain passes and curves and that is where the drifting comes in. Basically, the story is centered around the kanto area and their surrounding cities which all the shooting took place too.

Jay Chou 周杰倫, is a very famous Taiwanese musician, singer, producer, actor and director who has won the World Music Award multiple times. Besides being well-known for composing all his own songs, he writes for other singers as well.

What you see here are some of the prizes from the movie Initial D contest which consists of Tshirt, calendar, notebook, umbrella, poster and backpack.

V for Vendetta Special Torch and Tshirt !!!

Easily one of the best movie in this year 2005 thriller.  Hugo Weaving "acting" was masterclass and   the casting of Natalie Portman ,well is refreshing.

Wallace & Gromit in the Curse of the were-rabbit (2005) magnetic holder

I have no idea where in the world I got this from. Probably it comes free with the tickets bought when I went for the movie. Anyway, it's magnetic and I think the purpose of it is to "clip something". lol   Btw, I cannot really remember what the movie is about although I do remember I like it alot.  

Fantastic Four - Rise of the Silver Surfer (2007) Mousepad

This is a mousepad from the Fantastic 4 movies - Rise of the Silver Surfer.

Finally in this part the F4 knows that they are not the only one who is equipped with super powers and that they are of "amatuer" level as compared to the silver surfer. It's funny that some of the comments were not that good for this instalment. IMO, the effects is alot better especially with the introduction the the silver surfer. Cool graphic effects and with the "switching" of powers among the F4, there are some "comedic" moments which make this movie an enjoyable one.

stars as a supernatural detective John Constantine, who has literally been to Hell and back teams up with Angela Dodson (a detective ) to solve the mysterious suicide of her twin sister. ... In the world of Demons and Angels.  What you see on the right is a Black colour L/S Tee from the movie. Hmmm, I wonder if anyone would dare to wear this outside their house.  Beside the shirt, on the left is this elegant pair of candles, a red and a black colour scent candles which I won from a magazine contest. Oh ya,, the prize comes with the little gold plated beetle tie clip as well. 

Fantastic Four lighter

One of the Fantastic 4 item that I missed out on earlier post. This cool little gadget is in fact a lighter and a red light will emit from the round see-through glass when open up. Gas not included thou.

Bad Boys 2 Dog Tag and Cap

The Bad Boys are BACK !!!! And this time it is even funnier. With Will Smith and Martin Lawrence what can you expect but endless jokes, fun and excitment. This 2003 action/thriller flick will certainly bring loads of laughter to your living couch.

Not much premium I got from this contest but still, a very cool black colour cap and metal keychains which I had won.

War Of the Worlds Limited Edition Cap and Shirt wear

Directed by Steven Spielberg , this 2005 action/sci-fic movie stars Tom Cruise as a very normal person ( you have to forget his Mission Impossible role ) working as a crane operator. Divorced and unable to communicate well with his son and daughter, the action start when Martians attacked Earth. Initially, I did not really like this movie because I expect alot of aliens running around zapping earthlings ( ya, I know.....Mars attack ). But after watching the second time,I appreciate it better as it shows the love of the father for his childrens.

When this movie was shown in 2005, it reminds me of the good old days when I watched the 1953 version of "The War Of The Worlds" in a public library. ..... Errr,,, no, I am not that old, the show was already a few decades old when I watched .

The picture shows a cap and a T shirt which I won during "Another" magazine contest although I cant remember whether it comes with the poster or not.

Final Destination 3 Cap and cool Shirt

I cannot actually recall watching the 1st and 2nd part of the Final Destination movies. Thou if my memory hasn't fail me yet, I think think I should have watched the 2nd, 3rd and the recent 4th part of the franchise.

I can only say that the 3rd FD leaves quite a deep impression on me. Very "entertaining" from the build up to the death of the actors one by one. As for the 4th part which I watched 2 weeks ago really really really is a big big disappoinment. I felt cheated of my money.

Anyway, the pics show a FD cap and a long sleeve round neck shirt which I won during the FD3 promos. I like the shirt very much but then erm,,,,,,, I don't think I would want to wear this for any roller coaster ride :0

Gala Premiere Tickets- Fantastic four

What you see on the right is the ticket to the Gala Premiere for Fantastic Four, on 29 June 2005 at the Golden Village Leisureplex. It was held by Samsung promoting one of their handphone series thou my tickets was won through a magazine contest. The Gala Premiere was one of the grandest that I have attended. Beside finger foods, champagne was also provided, free flow. I cannot recall how much I drank but should be about 5 glasses :)

The highlight before the show started was the introduction of the 4 characters in the movie portray by 3 handsome dudes and a beautiful lady ( The Invisible Woman ). Too bad I cannot find the photos which was taken back then ( using a camera phone ) or else I would be able to upload some of it.

Overall, the Gala Premiere was held like a party and the organiser did a wonderful job. Credits to them.

The Fantastic Four Radio

What I have here is the Fantastic Four FM radio.

Released in year 2005, this is the 1st instalment of the two (Fantastic 4 - Rise Of The Silver Surfer).

During one of the mission, the F4 team was hit by a space storm and suddenly find themselves "radiated" with special powers which messed up their normal lives real good. Well, thou The F4 team consists of Mr. Fantastic, The Invisible Woman, The Human Torch and The Thing, the one which leave a deep impression on me is none other than,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

"Wrapped" in a sexy blue tight outfit, she sure looks good.

Terminator 3 - Rise of The Machines (2003) Action Figurines

Since Arnie the Terminator said " I'll be back ", it took him more than ten years. And what a COMEBACK !!!

The addition of Kristanna Loken as T-X, the new advance terminator is a wonderful idea. Who would have see it coming at that time !!! With her cool looks and sexy bods (pardon me), it really adds more bang on the already exciting installment.

These figurines came with the DVD Gift Box Set which I bought when it was released.

Hmmm, think I will take a look at ebay and see if they have the Arnie Terminator saying " I'LL BE BACK, I'LL BE BACK, I'LL BE BACK........................"

VOLCANO Keychain

This cute little keychain comes with some other

premiums in a VOLCANO bundle. But I couldn't

find it at this moment ( shd be hiding in some other

cartons ). The red colour lava lookalike will create

patterns within the yellow liquid if you shake the keychain.

Released in 1997, this movie is about a volcano erupting in L.A.

One of the many volcano disaster movies that was released during that year.

(thou this is the better one)
