One of the better episode (IMHO) in the Lord of the Rings movie franchise.  The Two Towers is the second movie in this Trilogy, directed by the great master Peter Jackson. It continues the quest of Frodo (played by Elijah Wood) , Sam (played by Sean Astin) and the fellowship who splits into 3 groups to destroy the One Ring and save the middle earth. This movie is an enormous hit with huge office success and I have watched the movie more than 10 times.. loving it so much so that I bought the following Collector's Gift Set. Packed in an exclusive Leather Gift Box, this beautiful scroll contains the storyline of the movie,  the castings and informations on the shooting locations..... and Oh , that leather smell from the box.

Exclusive Polystone Argonath Bookends

The most exciting item that comes with this Gift set. 

A set of Polystone Argonath bookends which were created by Sideshow/WETA, Mary Maclachlan, who sculpted the miniatures used in actual filming, sculpted the bookends.  The Argonath is a monument created by the people of Gondor to honour their kings of old. The two men represented by the Argonath are the sons of Elendil, first king of Gondor (and part of the Last Alliance shown in the prologue). One is Isildur, who cut the ring from Sauron's hand, and the other is Anarion, who was slain with his father in the same battle where Sauron was defeated. Together the two formed the kingdom of Gondor which was ruled by Isildur.

Fantastic Four - Rise of the Silver Surfer (2007) Mousepad

This is a mousepad from the Fantastic 4 movies - Rise of the Silver Surfer.

Finally in this part the F4 knows that they are not the only one who is equipped with super powers and that they are of "amatuer" level as compared to the silver surfer. It's funny that some of the comments were not that good for this instalment. IMO, the effects is alot better especially with the introduction the the silver surfer. Cool graphic effects and with the "switching" of powers among the F4, there are some "comedic" moments which make this movie an enjoyable one.   

Fantastic 4 Flash Drive

Another item from Fantastic 4 movie.

This time a USB flash thumb drive which i got from the same promotion as before.

Fantastic Four lighter

One of the Fantastic 4 item that I missed out on earlier post. This cool little gadget is in fact a lighter and a red light will emit from the round see-through glass when open up. Gas not included thou.

National Treasure Compass , Cards and keychain

This 2004 action cum adventure movie starred Nicolas Cage as a treasure hunter searching for, well, treasure which had been lost since centuries ago. IMO, this movie only worth 2.5 out of 5 stars. Nothing much to talk about regarding the actions as well as the acting. The only thing that is a little bit iteresting is the riddle solving...... which reminds me of " RIDDLE ME THIS, RIDDLE ME THAT ... : )

Anyway, I got this from a little contest

I " woof....woof.. surely...woof " do, thou I have yet to get myself one yet.

Won thru' a magazine contest, the Must Love Dogs prize items thou simple, is a Ego booster. One would definitely feel proud if he/she wears the cap, put on the Tee's and carry the bag to walk the dog in the park.

About this movie, to be fair, I cannot give any comment on it because I missed it.

Think I will get the DVD later :)

Anyway, this 2005 romance + comedy should be able to appeal to any dog lovers. Maybe you should "grab" your dog and watch it with you : )

Gala Premiere Tickets- Fantastic four

What you see on the right is the ticket to the Gala Premiere for Fantastic Four, on 29 June 2005 at the Golden Village Leisureplex. It was held by Samsung promoting one of their handphone series thou my tickets was won through a magazine contest. The Gala Premiere was one of the grandest that I have attended. Beside finger foods, champagne was also provided, free flow. I cannot recall how much I drank but should be about 5 glasses :)

The highlight before the show started was the introduction of the 4 characters in the movie portray by 3 handsome dudes and a beautiful lady ( The Invisible Woman ). Too bad I cannot find the photos which was taken back then ( using a camera phone ) or else I would be able to upload some of it.

Overall, the Gala Premiere was held like a party and the organiser did a wonderful job. Credits to them.

The Fantastic Four Radio

What I have here is the Fantastic Four FM radio.

Released in year 2005, this is the 1st instalment of the two (Fantastic 4 - Rise Of The Silver Surfer).

During one of the mission, the F4 team was hit by a space storm and suddenly find themselves "radiated" with special powers which messed up their normal lives real good. Well, thou The F4 team consists of Mr. Fantastic, The Invisible Woman, The Human Torch and The Thing, the one which leave a deep impression on me is none other than,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

"Wrapped" in a sexy blue tight outfit, she sure looks good.

SPAWN Key Chain

As the name implies.... Spawn.
to cause something new, or many new things, to grow or start suddenly....
according to Cambridge dictionary.

In this movie Spawn , which is a fictional character from the comic book created by Todd Mc Farlane is about a highly trained assassin who goes by the name Al Simmons ( played by Michael Jai White ) was resurrected as a Hellspawn to lead the Hell's army.... After he was betrayed and murdered by his employer.

The movie has got a lot of mixed reviews but to me it was one of my favourite (a unreluctant one for him maybe)... Well what can I say ....I've got a soft spot for superheroe movies, whether they willingly or unwillingly became one ... lol

This is one of those movie key chains collection which I like. If memory served me right  it should be from the movie promotions at the theatre when I watched it.
