I like christian Bale as Batman very much.

His looks, his eyes and not to mention his voice makes him the most BAT_ty BATMAN of all times.

VOLCANO Keychain

This cute little keychain comes with some other

premiums in a VOLCANO bundle. But I couldn't

find it at this moment ( shd be hiding in some other

cartons ). The red colour lava lookalike will create

patterns within the yellow liquid if you shake the keychain.

Released in 1997, this movie is about a volcano erupting in L.A.

One of the many volcano disaster movies that was released during that year.

THE CAVE Torchlight

A very COOL and Metallic colour multi purpose Torchlight is what I have here, won from a magazine contest.

From the movie THE CAVE, this "B"movie ( as said by reviewers ) still provide enoughentertainment& exciting moments. The torchlight also comes with a Sirenand even a Radio function.

Don't leave for THE CAVE without it !!!!

StarShip Troopers (1997) Mouse Pad

Adding this Starship Troopers mousepad into my collections which comes with a pair of free movie preview tickets. Also one of the best sci-fi movie that I like but subsequently the next few sequels

 was a disappointment.  However, I got a surprise just days ago before I update this post(2017).  I stumbled upon the Starship Troopers: Traitor of Mars  animated version , which is a sequel to the 2012 Starship Troopers : Invasion the 4th instalment.  I would recommend you to watch it if you like sci-fic/ alien kind of movie. You will not be disappointed in this one.

In the not so soon future, mother Earth is at war with a race of giant alien insects. Not much is known about these killer Bugs except that they are intending on wiping out all human lifes.  The militia world government decided to send a Mobile Infantry troop which travels to the alien planets to take the war to the Bugs. They have only one mission: Survival of their species no matter what the cost...

Come on you apes, you wanna live forever?

Star Trek - First Contact (1996 ) Key Chain

I would say this is one of the best Star Trek movie episode that I have watched, in fact It is one of the best sci-fic movies that I watched despite being a Star Wars fan.  The great performance  by Patrick Stewart makes this movie even better.

RESISTANCE IS FUTILE !!!

This glittering  metallic keychain is from the movie "First Contact".  It is heavy despite the size of a normal keychain but when you hold it feels that it is made of high quality material.  It comes with the Star Trek movie soundtrack that I bought...and yes the reason I bought the soundtrack is because of this key chain which I like very much. Just like the movie line says.. ...Resistance is futile.

SPAWN Key Chain

As the name implies.... Spawn.
to cause something new, or many new things, to grow or start suddenly....
according to Cambridge dictionary.

In this movie Spawn , which is a fictional character from the comic book created by Todd Mc Farlane is about a highly trained assassin who goes by the name Al Simmons ( played by Michael Jai White ) was resurrected as a Hellspawn to lead the Hell's army.... After he was betrayed and murdered by his employer.

The movie has got a lot of mixed reviews but to me it was one of my favourite (a unreluctant one for him maybe)... Well what can I say ....I've got a soft spot for superheroe movies, whether they willingly or unwillingly became one ... lol

This is one of those movie key chains collection which I like. If memory served me right  it should be from the movie promotions at the theatre when I watched it.

This must be one of my 10 ten movie franchise of all time.

popular series ALIENS.

In this 4th Instalment -

Two centuries after Ellen Ripley's death , she is being revived as a powerful human/alien hybrid clone who must continue her war against the monstrous aliens. 

In the film, which is set 200 years after the preceding installment Alien 3 (1992), Ripley is cloned and an Alien queen is surgically removed from her body. The United Systems Military hopes to breed Aliens to study and research on the spaceship USM Auriga, using human hosts kidnapped and delivered to them by a group of  mercenaries The Aliens escape their enclosures, while Ripley and the mercenaries attempt to escape and destroy the Auriga before it reaches its destination: Earth.

Alien Resurrection was released on November 26, 1997, and received mixed reviews from film critics. with one terrible comment .... "there is not a single shot in the movie to fill one with wonder", later naming it one of the worst films of 1997.   Well I beg to differ.

Batman CD Player

This is a Batman CD player which is still in it's original box.

It was won from a contest during the screening of the movie shown at the theatres. 

The control is rather unique as it comes with a Batman logo on it.

Batman is my Number 1 superhero on the list.
Now many of us knew that there were many actors playing the role of batman.... to list a few.....
(Adam West was classic but my memory failed me on this one)

So which is your favourite ,

Michael Keaton, George Clooney, Christian Bale or Ben Affleck

 My vote goes to Christian Bale.

Two of the Best Batman movie franchise ; The Dark Knight and the Dark Night Rises fully explored the inner darkest fear of Bruce Wayne, aka. Batman and the strengths that comes along with it. with co-stars like Heath Ledger's Joker and Tom Hardy Bane the movie is just Perfect !!

With Great Powers Comes Great Collections !!!

It's been years and I finally found the time to restructured this blog.  Not only will the posts be rewritten, the pictures and photographs of the memoribilia will be reshoot and repost as well.

My greatest passion is Movies and even when I was at a very young age I am fascinated by the   magic of it and  along with it the collection of movie memorabilia and movie stuffs and items seems natural.  Throughout the years I have been collecting them as a hobby ( along with a friend which you may also access his blog site through the link I have provided on the right) and Most of the collectibles were collected through winning from contests, lucky draws, cinema promotions, product tie in premiums etc.  During the 1990's to 2000's there were a lot of contests and lucky draws , galas and premieres which we could take part.... for example the 8 days magazine , ETC magazine ,  Wiz ( which was in the form of a cd format instead of the normal paper magazines ) and many others.  

The other collectibles item were collected from the events made possible by cinema operators like Shaw , Cathay and Eng Wah to name a few.  Normally there will be some free preview tickets given out and coupled with a free poster or some collectibles.  You will need to be there very early as these are given out from a stipulated time in a first come manner.

Sadly, we do not see much of these nowadays maybe due to the fact that more and more people are watching free movies online and the organisers may think that it is not viable to hold such events as to save costs.  Well, hopefully this will change in the future.
